Integrative Somatic Trauma Specialist
Restoring Nervous System Stability, Dignity, and Embodied Resilience
Trauma is not only psychological. It is physiological. Relational. Cultural. Intergenerational.
At the Somatic Trauma Recovery Center, I specialize in integrative, nervous system–based trauma recovery for individuals who have survived complex trauma, war, displacement, systemic harm, and relational injury.
My work combines advanced somatic training with lived understanding of collective trauma to support deep stabilization, identity restoration, and post-traumatic growth.
Healing is not about revisiting pain endlessly. It is about restoring safety to the body so that survival no longer defines identity.
Clinical Approach
My work integrates:
• Somatic Experiencing®
• Transforming Touch® (Developmental Trauma Repair)
• Advanced SE® Touch Skills
• Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB)
• Trauma Memory Reconsolidation & Coherence Therapy
• Polyvagal-informed regulation
• Attachment and relational trauma repair
• Transgenerational trauma integration
This is bottom-up healing.
We work directly with nervous system patterns of freeze, hypervigilance, shutdown, dissociation, chronic pain, relational collapse, and emotional dysregulation — restoring regulation at the physiological level.
Areas of Specialization
I work with:
• Survivors of war, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement
• Refugees, stateless individuals, and immigrants navigating exile
• Former child soldiers and individuals exposed to armed conflict
• Survivors of narcissistic and sadistic abuse
• Individuals carrying complex PTSD and developmental trauma
• Activists, healers, and therapists experiencing vicarious trauma
• Adults navigating attachment rupture, betrayal, and burnout
My practice centers dignity, sovereignty, and trauma-informed accountability.
Lived Experience & Professional Commitment
My work is informed by lived experience of war, collective violence, and displacement during adolescence and early adulthood. Those experiences shaped my understanding of trauma not as theory — but as embodied reality.
I have survived armed conflict, exile, statelessness, and systemic violence. I understand trauma from the inside.
That lived experience informs — but does not replace — my professional training and clinical discipline.
It allows me to work with survivors of mass trauma, war-related injury, and displacement with precision, steadiness, and ethical containment.

Land Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that the land on which I live and practice is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Haudenosaunee, the Huron-Wendat, and the Anishinaabe peoples. I recognize their enduring connection to this land, their rich histories, and the importance of honoring Indigenous sovereignty, resilience, and healing.
As a trauma therapist, I acknowledge the generational and systemic trauma that has been inflicted upon Indigenous communities. My work is dedicated to supporting healing, restoring dignity, and creating safe spaces for all individuals seeking recovery from personal, collective, and intergenerational trauma.
